Final Assembly - Steering Shaft & Steering Wheel (September 28, 2013)

This is the vibration isolator/u-jont at the steering column.
The double D shaft runs down to the steering rack. It comes in a 12" length, I had to shorten it  1/2".

This is the Billet Specialties steering wheel. It is a 15 1/2" model.
The rim will be fully wrapped when the interior is done.

The small horn button and a black adapter. I ended up blasting and painting the adapter so it would match the column.

It has the right vintage design but with a modern touch.

Final Assembly - Radiator & Air Intake (September 27, 2013)

Time to install the radiator and the air intake tubes/filter. Radiator is a bolt in (one of the few items that actually just bolted in without needing any massaging. Thanks Entropy!). You can see the coolant recovery tank mounted on the bracket I made during mock up. Still need to form up a couple of -4 lines.

Here you can see the a/c condenser. Another item that fit without modifying using the brackets supplied by Vintage Air.

Air intake tube with the cone filter attached. I had these powder coated in a texture to match the intake and valve covers. Came out nice thanks to Tim at Texas Powder Coating. The tube stock and the various connectors used came from Spectre (wonder if that is the same guy from the old 007 movies, LOL!)

Air intake and MAF sensor installed.
