I wanted to come up with a way to route the passenger side e-brake cable above the driveshaft and exhaust. I am using a Lokar e-brake system which uses enclosed cables instead of the open cable that the OEM set up used. I didn't want the cable to run below the driveshaft etc. The bend radius would have been to tight to route it on the bottom of the floor over the driveshaft. I used a length of tube to route it above the tunnel in the area under the rear seat. I tack welded the tube in place and will use seam sealer at final assembly.
