Paint Firewall (April 2, 2013)
Finally ready for some paint!!! I used Eastwood's 2K Ceramic Underhood Black. This is a satin finish paint and I believe it is supposed to be 20-30% gloss rating. I also used this on the rear suspension mounting brackets and the rear wheel wells (inside of the trunk). This paint laid down nicely with a 1.4 mm tip in the gun. I applied two coats. When dry it is quite durable and doesn't scuff easily.
