Wiring - Alternator & Starter (September 24 - 25, 2013)

This is the 6 ga. alternator charge wire. It runs from the positive bulkhead connector along the oil pan up to the front of the engine.

Starting from the firewall.

Over the starter along the oil pan.

Across the front of the oil pan (viewed looking up from the ground).

Up to the alternator (again, looking up from the bottom).
An additional clamp was added after this pic.

Terminating at the alternator.

Next up is the starter leads between the bulkhead connector and the starter.

This is the positive cable, 2 ga.

Here the solenoid lead is added and both are inserted in some DEI ThermoTec sleeve. The header tubes are pretty close.

Kind of tough to make out but this is looking up at the bulkhead connectors. The black cable is the ground lead to the engine block.

This is the starter solenoid bulkhead connector (viewed from inside). I covered most of this earlier but was waiting on the parts to make the connector. I used 2 nylon shoulder washers and a short piece of brass 10-32 all thread to make up the bulkhead connector.
