This is the Dakota Digital door lock solenoid (10 lb. model). I bent up a simple aluminum bracket to mount it to the door.
Marking the door for the mounting holes.
Solenoid mounted to the door just below the lock assembly.
Bent up a rod that attaches to the lock lever. Added a small piece of rubber tubing and a washer to keep the rattles down.
These are the two mounting screws on the rearward side of the door.

btw, sold the Fesler tail lights...waiting on a different set to arrive.
